^Lot 659 USAF Brig. General Jet Pilot's Helmet

USAF Brig. General Jet Pilot's Helmet, Type P-1B with bag, attributed to USAF Brig. Gen. Homer A. Boushey, WW2 veteran ret. 1961. Helmet is complete with all internals and is in excellent condition showing minimal wear; with early oxygen mask assembly showing some rubber damage. These early circa 1950s helmets were originally worn with goggles and later retrofitted with their dark visor. Lot includes 3-page history of General Boushey. Est. $400-$600.
